  • Writing Challenge 2006-4 "FIVE" (and five is ten)

From kween_of_the_queens, the latest writing assignment is to  List five (5) qualities of your character that make you attractive. You
may attempt this in most any
manner that pleases you.  Be it long explanations or short lists,
    I
leave it up to you.  And just for fun and as a contrast, also list
    five
    (5) characteristics YOU find attractive in a person. The field is open,
be it what you want in a mate or a friend or merely an acquaintance.

I think my attempt will be to write (not in
any particular order) ten characteristics I find attractive and embedded within those ten,
I hope I have at least five of them!

    1. Intelligence that acknowledges that one doesn't know it all and there is never a time one can stop learning and growing.
    2. Creativity:  The Ability to Communicate Articulately and Coherently through the written or spoken word, music and/or art.
    3. A Good Sense of Humor, Sharp Wit, Playfulness:  One can make it through some of the darker moments in life without completely going to pieces if they have this.
    4. Honesty / Integrity:  Deceit is the ultimate betrayer and it only serves to hurt in the end.
    5. Respect of/for Humanity:  Everyone has intrinsic value.  There is no such thing
as a worthless human being.  This includes treating everyone
politely and with deference regardless of social, emotional, cultural
      or physical stature.
    6. Inner Strength:  What really matters is the strength of the spirit within a person despite what their physical body may suffer.
    7. Depth of Character.  Not superficial.  A person you can "sink your teeth into" (figuratively speaking!) and they're more than just skin-deep.
    8. Appreciation for Music and the Arts since they are such an enhancement to life
    9. Self-Confidence tempered by Maturity enables a person to be aggressive without being arrogant.
    10. A Global Perspective:  The
realization that the world is not made up of only one's own mind, back
yard, home town, state, country or culture - and that learning from
other beliefs and cultures can broaden one's own horizons and encourage
      personal growth.
